TEXT MESSAGING (SMS) POLICY STATEMENT Purpose of Text Messaging/ Association of Air Conditioning Professionals, Inc. [“AACP”] uses text messaging (SMS) to communicate timely, relevant information to members, event registrants, apprentices, instructors, and other individuals who have opted in to receive messages. SMS communications may include membership updates, event reminders, registration confirmations, program announcements, advocacy alerts, deadline notifications, and other association-related communications that support our mission and services. Opt-In Consent/ By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you expressly consent to receive text messages from AACP. Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of membership, event registration, or participation in association programs. Message Frequency/ Message frequency will vary based on your level of engagement with the association, but individuals can expect to receive no more than four [4] messages per month, unless additional messages are required for time-sensitive updates (such as event changes or deadline reminders). Opt-Out Instructions/ You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Once you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS communications from AACP unless you choose to re-enroll.
